We secure confidentiality agreements with all internal staff (translation managers, temporary and part-time staff) and external resources (cooperating companies and translators). We also employ the latest security systems for the management and storage of our translation sources. All projects we undertake are safeguarded by all-encompassing back-up and anti-virus systems.

■ Internal procedures and project management

WIP boasts a wealth of experience in the field of localization, and all processes are supervised by project managers well versed in both translation and technology (IT, DTP, Tool, etc.). WIP also has standard procedure manuals covering internal processes, and has established a system that ensures sustained high quality through quality control management, maintaining glossaries for our clients, checking, capacity management and so forth.

■ Translation

In terms of quality WIP translators are ranked top of their respective translation fields. We also utilize translation memory (TM) tools that put many years of accumulated translation assets to work. WIP was in fact one of the first localization companies in Japan to use TRADOS(C), perhaps the world's most widely acclaimed TM tool. TM not only helps maintain consistency between translations, but also boosts translation speed and efficiency, making for considerable savings in translation charges.
