New service: YAQS - the client-translator matching service

YAQS, launched in November 2010, is WIP Japan’s web-based client-translator matching service for Japanese to English and English to Japanese (Chinese also planned).
YAQS (= yakusu, to translate) offers the opportunity to do small volume translation of easy content (a lot being product descriptions of e-commerce sites) to get experience in the translation business. Three different levels offer entry to beginners with the prospects to develop featuring a graded payment system based on trial translation results (up to 9yen/character). Apart from money and experience, you can have the reward of seeing your own work online (in the case of e-commerce related texts)!

N.B. Translation trials and registration are different for WIP Japan and YAQS.
