Policy

WIP Japan is constantly changing along with social conditions and the market. The one thing that does not change is our basic belief. We believe that no one should stop at the mastering of a single field, but keep striving to cultivate his or her skills ever further. The fundamental spirit of this is one of ‘self cultivation' and ‘service'.

Entering WIP, you learn from the ground up the meaning of ‘self cultivation' and ‘service' . It is by no means an easy task, but we seek people to work with us who share our deep motivation to work for a world based on mutual understanding.

Job title： Translation Project Manager, Coordinator

Prerequesites：	- Empathy with WIP's activities and character (as stated above) - Possession of the qualities WIP seeks in its staff (as stated above) or the will to acquire them
Necessary skills：	- Native English speaking ability - Japanese proficiency: JLPT 1 - 3+ years of experience in a specific field preferred (finance, medical, legal, manufacturing, IT, real estate etc.) - Working experience at a translation agency (especially mid-sized and above) preferred
Job content：	- Responsibility and management of the complete translation process; focus on proofreading and project management

Applicants are to submit a CV, a resume of their work experience, a cover letter, and their desired salary via email (all documents in Japanese). We handle your application with strict confidentiality.

Working conditions

Work locations：	- Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo - Kita-ku, Osaka
Working hours：	9 flexible working hours (including 1h break), core hours 10:00-14:00 (effective 1 year after entering the company); plus overtime.
Benefits：	Provision of all social insurances
Holidays：	Weekends, national holidays, paid vacations (including winter break and O-Bon), performance-based paid vacations
Wage：	Dependent on experience, skill and ambition; wage raise as applicable; 3 bonuses/year (achievements based)

Job content：	- Assisting the translation manager in all aspects of production. Focus on taking phone calls, proofreading, and project management.
